The team approach is often key to an outstanding result, especially in the process of building a custom home. This estate residence in Boca Raton's royal Palm Yacht and Country Club proves it. From the very beginning, the architect, builder and designer worked together to crate a home steeped in the charm and island flair of the West Indies.

Rounding out the trio of award-winning professionals was Fort Lauderdale-based interior designer Joyce Shore, who became part of the equation even earlier than the builder and architect. She had worked with the clients before, and they were eager for a repeat performance.
"I designed the interior of their home in Addison Reserve, so from the beginning of the Royal Palm project, I had a firm grasp on their tastes, their lifestyle, and the subtleties that would tailor the residence specifically to them. I worked very closely with Affiniti and Bloomfield, coordinating our efforts so that the architectural detailing, the overall floor plan, and the basic infrastructure would facilitate what I knew to be the clients' ultimate interior design objectives. They wanted a seasoned look, as if the house had been there for a long time."
The team worked smoothly together. "Each of us brought our own areas of expertise to the table, with the goals of completing the home on time, within budget, and according to the clients' exact specifications," Shore said.
